The Birch Pullover is a squishy wardrobe staple. Knit from the top down in a Half Fisherman’s rib stitch, it is warm and cozy and goes with everything!!

As it is knit from the top down you can try it on as you go and add length to suit your own personal style.  Begin with the collar and then flow into Half-Fishermen’s Rib. The yoke is shaped along the raglans for a classic style. The sleeves are then returned to the needle, picking up stitches for the underarm for a totally seamless sweater!

Intended to be worn with 0 to 15 cm ease. To pick your best size, measure your full bust and add or subtract your desired ease, then pick the finished bust circumference closest to that number.
- Sample shown in size 2 with 15 cm positive ease on a woman who is 5’5” tall. The test knitters found great success playing with different amounts of ease in this pattern!

Needles:

US 2/2.75 mm - 40 cm (collar) and 80 cm to 100 cm (body) circular and preferred needles for small circumference knitting (sleeves)
(Use the needle size you need to achieve gauge.)

Notions: Stitch markers (8 - with 1 of them being unique from the others), cable needle (optional), tapestry needle, stitch holders or waste yarn

Gauge: 27 sts & 52 rows = 4”/10 cm
Measured over Half Fisherman’s rib stitch pattern in the round after blocking.
